Anyone who will be 18 or older on Sunday, November 1, 2026 and is not a resident of the US may purchase one of our guaranteed entry packages.
If you are not Canadian you must obtain written permission from Dream Travel Canada before registering

Your initial deposit of $650 will be charged in CAD, collected from Race Roster, converted to USD and applied to your package.

2026 Abbott Dash to the Finish Line 5K
Join the Dream Travel Canada staff and run this exciting event with your friends and family on Saturday, October 31 as a warm up for the marathon!
Runners will start at the UN Building in Midtown and finish at the iconic 2026 TCS New York City Marathon finish line in Central Park.
This Fun Run will have runners from virtually every country on the planet and is a very exciting event.

JW Marriott Essex House New York is a luxury historic hotel in Midtown Manhattan on Central Park South with elegant rooms, spa, restaurant, and great views of Central Park. This hotel is in front of Central Park and a fantastic location for runners!
As these are guaranteed entries (versus lottery, Wanda Age Group, etc), the TCS New York City Marathon will not refund, defer or allow for a cancellation under any circumstance. That said, our policy needs to be as such:
-There is no deferral option, however, you may cancel your package for a credit, but only if we are able to resell your entry package and only if it’s prior to registration closing (expected to be in August of 2026).
Why We Charge Fees
We must pre-purchase a large number of guaranteed, non-refundable, non-deferable entries from the TCS New York City Marathon a full year in advance and at a substantial cost and when someone commits to an entry and then cancels, we then have to try and resell the entry, pay the marathon a name change fee, cancel the hotel room (if possible) and most-likely pay them a fee, re-advertise, re-register someone else, pay staff to handle all of that, and then there are the sizeable bank fees. Therefore, we charge a fee when cancelling as it costs us substantially.
Purchasing applicable insurance (see below) and cancelling for an insurable reason will prevent you from losing your deposit and payments and will cover these fees as well.
If you cancel and we can resell your package, the following fees will apply:
15% of what you have paid if cancelling 120 days or more prior to registration closing
25% of what you have paid if cancelling between 14 and 119 days prior to registration closing
50% of what you have paid if cancelling 13 days or les prior to registration closing
100% of what you have paid if cancelling after registration has closed or at any time if we are unable to resell your package.
The difference between what you paid and the fee listed above will be held as a credit for you for 24 months from the time you made your last payment for this particular package. Credits may only be used for trips/packages listed on our website.
Registration is expected to close in August of 2026.

What are the minimum three nights we have to stay?
The three included nights are Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.
Is my race entry guaranteed?
Yes, we are an authorized tour partner of this race and only sell guaranteed entries.
Are these prices in CAD OR USD?
Prices are in USD but you may pay by credit card in CAD or USD, by Wise in CAD or USD or by e-transfer in CAD. If paying by CAD we will convert and apply your payment to USD.
Is airfare or airport transfers included in this package?
Airfare and airport transfers are not included.
What is the time limit for this race?
The official deadline to cross the finish line is 10PM.
What happens if I take more than the limit?
Normally this is not an issue, but depending on how much additional time you need, you may need to run on sidewalks. Runners who take longer than the official time are not guaranteed a race medal, but usually receive one.
Do I have to pick up my race bib myself, or can someone do that for me?
Runners must pick up their own bib and no one, including family members or Dream Travel staff members, are permitted to pick up your bib on your behalf. That said, it is highly recommended that you fly in earlier rather than later in case of flight delays or cancellations.
Can I stay at a different hotel?
We have contracts with our hotels and with the race organization meaning that we can only permit runners to stay at the authorized hotel(s) listed above.
Can I collect hotel loyalty points?
Hotels do not offer loyalty points for group bookings, however, you can still ask the front desk to add your loyalty number at check in and the hotel will give you points/credit for all incidental charges.
How do I get to the start line and back to the hotel after the marathon?
We purposely chose the hotel that we did as it’s walking distance to both the Start and the Finish areas.
Do you have triple or quad rates?
Most-likely yes but will ultimately depend on the hotel’s availability and room types. Please contact us for rates.
I need to cancel; can you help me?
This really depends on when you cancel and whether or not you purchased the correct insurance. If you purchased insurance and are cancelling for an included reason, or you purchased the CFAR insurance, then you can cancel at any time but you must let us know as soon as you need to cancel. If you did not purchase insurance, then it’ll depend on when you cancel and if we can resell your package. Contact us as soon as possible and we’ll do everything we can to assist you!
